Adair, John G. |
Born in England in 1934, John Adair was the firts person to promove the education of Leadership in Surrey University and in Oxford Centre of Management studies. He took a degree level course, wrote more than 25 books about Leadership and Development in Management. He has been teaching Leadership Studies at Exeder University since 1991. In 1997 this university invented the first Degree level course in Leadership Studies. We can summarize his contribution to the management within three topics: 1. Firstly, he showed that all Leadership competences can be learnt by everybody; 2. Secoundly, he wanted management to favour subjects like decision, communication and capacity to manage the time; 3. And then, he created the concept of learning placed in the centre of action;
