Enquiry about Recycling habits in our city

Introduction

We made an enquiry to conclude if people with different ages recycle or not, with the single purpose to know if the age differed in making people recycle.

These recycling containers are relatively recent, so the expectations are that younger population will posses a larger knowledge about this subject than the older population.

This enquiry will allow us to know not only if people recycle, and in which ages, but also will give us a little information about if they are aware and correctly informed about these recycling containers.

Conclusion:

We did, in fact, conclude that the younger population (3-20) have a bigger knowledge about recycle and it’s effects in general and do recycle more than the older population;

Threw these few inquires we noticed that most people don’t know what recycling is and its benefits;

We noticed that most people confused the container’s colours for the respective recycling material. Some people even demonstrated not having any knowledge about the colours of these so popular containers;

We concluded that the older population (70-100) and the younger male population (10-20) are the one’s that recycle less, and the younger male population are also the ones that showed less interest in recycling.

Most people just don’t recycle, and some don’t recycle enough. To make our world a better place to live everyone needs to cooperate, and that isn’t happening relatively to recycling.
